Another advantage of the carbide nozzle lies in the absence of the need for its constant cooling with liquid. However, like any other species, it only works effectively with a drill speed of up to 500 rpm, but no more.

This type of crowns has a negative side: they quickly break, and it is much more difficult to drill with them,than other models.

The KS series crowns are designed for drilling holes in high strength materials. When working with them, the shock-free method is used, which protects the tile surface from vibration loads and, as a result, from destruction.

The tile is a rather fragile, but at the same time a very durable product, therefore the process of its drilling requires accuracy. With all the variety of crowns on the modern Russian market, it is difficult to make a choice in favor of this or that instrument.

Therefore, before buying a nozzle you should pay attention to such moments:

• Shank crown (flange)and, more precisely, its type. This element must match the type of connector in the punch or electric drill. A thin flange with a smooth surface is much more common, while it is considered the most rapidly wearing. Its unreliability is due to poor fixation in the instrument.

• The second important characteristic of the crown - diameter. This parameter determines both the size of the hole being drilled and the price of the fixture itself. The diameter is chosen according to the dimensions of the products where it is necessary to produce a hole. For example, to install the outlet, you need a crown with a diameter of 68 mm.
