• Fiberboard The basis consists of wooden bars, to which are attached thin wooden plates.To protect the surface of the material, it is laminated and coated with several layers of varnish. This type of product is the cheapest, but also short-lived. Often they are complemented by a box with a threshold. Experts do not recommend installing these doors in the bathroom or in the kitchen, where there is poor ventilation.

• MDF. Cloths are much more expensive products from fiberboard. Products are distinguished by an optimal price-quality ratio. Therefore, many buyers prefer doors made of MDF. The material is good against moisture, and also has high levels of sound insulation.
• Natural wood. Doors from the array - unique and beautiful products that are perfect for any interior. The substance is very well processed, which allows it to be given a different shape. Therefore, these doors are often decorated with carvings, which makes them more beautiful.

They are supplemented with a telescopic or simple box that allows you to mount the trim better. Door panels are made of various tree species, among which the most popular are pine, oak, ash, maple, mahogany and many others.

There are many other classifications of interior doors, which take into account their technical parameters and design features. They can be single or double, and the surface itself can be smooth or be supplemented with figured cuts and glass inserts.

Installation of interior doors involves not only a careful approach, but also the use of high-quality auxiliary tools. To perform these tasks, you will need such a standard set of products:

• Saw. It should be sharp and have small teeth, which will eliminate the appearance of chips on the surface of the box.
• Drill and drill set. The type of tool depends on the wall material to which the frame will be attached. It is important that the drills can drill holes in brick, concrete, etc. In some cases, you may need a hammer drill and several drills.
• Screwdriver and attachments for a certain type of fasteners.
• Roulette and pencil for marks.

• Level.
• Fasteners. In most cases, you will need a few screws on the tree, as well as dowels for installation in the wall. Sometimes you can use special anchors.
• Polyurethane foam.
• Spacer elements. They are needed to fix the box in the opening. Often used for this wooden wedges. Therefore, you need to stock up on a tree from which you can later form several similar products.

Installation of the interior door frame is a complicated procedure that requires certain skills and patience. You need to start with the preparation of the working tool, as well as the choice of mounting method. In most cases installation is carried out using anchorswhich securely fix the frame.

The installation of the box with its assembly begins. This design can be of several types. Today, U-shaped frames, which exclude the presence of a threshold, are increasingly used. But there are also rectangular structures that are also used quite often.

Factory models are often already prepared for assembly, as they are pre-trimmed to give a beautiful look. If you decide to build a box of wooden lumber on your own, then it must be carefully dried and polished.

Assembling the box involves performing several sequential operations:

• Initially, you need to lay out the bars on a flat horizontal surface. Often, this is done using a floor that is covered with paper or film to prevent damage to the door leaf.
• Collecting the box starts with measurements. It is important that the width of the opening is somewhat larger than the door leaf itself.
• When all the data is known, it is necessary to combine the elements of the duct into a single structure. They can dock in several basic ways. The simplest connection is considered to be at 90 degrees. To do this, the upper bar from the ends is cut at a given angle.

• You can connect these elements at an angle of 45 degrees. To do this, an angle is cut on each bar. After joining both structures, they should also form 90 degrees. Please note that you should not allow even the smallest deviations, since the work of the entire system depends on it.
• When you drove all the bars, you can connect them together.To do this, use nails or screws. It is advisable to drive 2 fasteners in each docking side. It is important that after assembling the box was held as tightly as possible, and the elements did not move relative to each other. If you plan to organize a threshold, then it is attached to the supports like the top bar. It is also important to connect this part as smoothly as possible.

• After assembling the box, proceed to the fastening of the hinges. For this, the frame is laid on the floor and leveled. After that, grooves for hinges are cut from one of the sides on a vertical stand. Experts recommend placing them at a distance of 20 cm from the top and bottom edges. The grooves are formed using a chisel or a milling cutter.
• When the hinges are attached, place the door leaf inside the box and mark their locations on it. To do this, the product is aligned with the frame, and then loops are applied and places are marked.

Do-it-yourself doorframe installation involves performing several successive operations:

1. Before you install the product, you need to perform measurements of the structure and doorway. It is important that the design is placed in the hole, which should be somewhat larger than it.
2. After that, you need to gently lift and insert the box into the opening. It is necessary to establish a design on a plain surface to exclude distortions. The ends of the product must coincide with one of the sides of the wall. This is important if the width of the frame is less than this value.
3. It is important that the box is exactly in all planes. Therefore, you need to align it and fix it in this position. For this, wooden struts are used, which are installed between the frame and the wall.

Fastening design is the final stage of installation of this product. This process consists from several consecutive stages:

1. Several fastening holes are drilled in the fixed box. At the same time use a drill on a tree which pass only a framework.
2. To form holes in the wall under the dowel, use a long drill for concrete. With it, make notes through previously drilled holes on the surface of vertical supports.Please note that the diameter of the drill should not be larger than the hole in the tree, because then you will not be able to fix the system with a screw.
3. At this stage, you need to remove the box and in the marked places on the wall drill holes of larger diameter. They must fit under a plastic dowel or anchor that will be used for these purposes.
4. When everything is ready, the box is put back in place, leveled and fixed with wedges. If all is well, you can fasten the frame to the wall with screws in several places. It is important to constantly monitor the position of the box relative to different planes.
5. The procedure is completed by filling the gaps with mounting foam and hanging the doors on the hinges.

Very often, interior doors are installed in place of already worn systems. This, in turn, involves dismantling the old box. To replace the old design, you can use several methods:

1. Dismantling with the destruction of the frame. This approach involves removing the old box with brute force. Here both crowbars and saws are used, which divide it into several separate parts.After that, the installation of the new system is already being carried out.
2. Disassembly of the structure with preservation of the frame. If the doors are still in good condition and can be used elsewhere, remove the box carefully. To do this, remove all screws or other fasteners in sequence. Then the foam is removed, which fixes the product additionally. This will allow you to easily remove the box later, while maintaining its integrity.

Wooden doors have a predisposition to skewing. Even if you installed the structure and checked the correctness of its course, it does not mean that it will always be like this. Very often the canvas begins to cling to the threshold. There are several ways to fix this problem:

1. Change the location of the loops. Elimination of skewing is performed by installing loops to a new place. It is important to carry out accurate measurements here to eliminate such problems in the future.
2. Cutting the threshold. If this part is made of wood, you can try to remove a small layer of wood.This will allow the door leaf to walk freely. This option is suitable only if the skew of the door is minimal. Similarly, you can do with the door leaf itself, cutting it with a jigsaw from the bottom.

Strengthening the interior door is not a relevant option today, since it does not require a special fortress. For example, MDF canvas can be knocked out with a foot or a crowbar, since the material is not very durable. If you need to strengthen the wooden front door, then you can do this using these methods:

1. Reinforcement box. Metal corners are installed at each connecting corner, which prevent the box from breaking when pressed with a crowbar. This approach will also be effective if the design is made of timber, and not of MDF or fiberboard.
2. Strengthening the canvas. To do this, the door surface is hammered with a metal sheet and high-quality fittings are installed. At the same time, the decoration of the canvas is lost.
