Plaster material should be applied to the prepared surface. The base should be smooth, clean and dry. It should not be chipped and cracked. If you are going to apply Bayramix plaster on a metal surface, first remove the corrosion from it (if any) and apply an epoxy or alkyd coating.

If on the basis there is an old paint and varnish coating, about the chemical composition of which you do not know anything, you will need to apply putty with drying oil. Treat the surface with copper sulphate, alkyd material. So you will prevent the appearance of colored spots in the future. Before applying the plaster composition should be used primer.

During the implementation of finishing work in the room should not be too cold and wet. It is not recommended to work in rainy weather.

Before applying decorative Bayramix plaster should prepare the following tools and fixtures:

  • gloves that will protect the skin of the hands (they must be made of cotton material);
  • clean container;
  • stainless steel construction grater;
  • electrical extension cord;

  • flat paint brush;
  • metal trowel;

  • perforator.

The brush handle should be quite long. Instead of a punch, you can take an electric drill and a mixing nozzle. It will also be necessary to prepare a film of polyethylene. The dimensions of the container for the plaster composition should be quite significant: it will take about 25 liters.

To prepare the plaster, mix the material with a liquid (approximately 1.5 liters). Mix thoroughly for fifteen minutes. The container in which you will store the received material must be closed.
